The Quick Law Group

Divorce & Family Law for Women

If you’re a woman in the Jacksonville area who’s getting divorced, you need a legal team that has an excellent track record as well as compassion and the willingness to hear what you have to say.

The Quick Law Group offers family and marital law services specifically for women. Our cases include divorce, custody disputes, child support enforcement, timesharing issues, alimony, domestic violence, and relocation in Duval, Clay, Nassau, St. Johns and Flagler Counties.

Our goal is simple: advocate for women going through divorce, so they can focus on their future and children.

• We prioritize what’s best for our client, both now and in the future. Often women are willing to settle for less just to get out of the relationship, but it is important to focus on future financial needs as well as get the divorce resolved.

• We advocate aggressively when it comes to alimony and child support, so that our clients will pay (or receive) a fair amount.

• The laws regarding alimony and time sharing are changing in Florida and more than ever, women will need to be ready to stand up for themselves in the divorce process as well as plan for the future.

• Our goal is not simply to get a quantitative outcome; it’s to provide genuine, empathetic and empowering services for the whole person.

Attorney Heather Quick was a child of divorce herself, so she appreciates the many challenges her clients face. She is also a former prosecutor, who has successfully handled hundreds of complex cases, including jury trials, and has earned a reputation for being a tenacious advocate.

Heather graduated Summa Cum Laude from University of North Florida in 1998. She earned her Juris Doctorate from Stetson University College of Law in 2000, graduating with honors. Immediately after she graduated, Heather served as an Assistant State Attorney in the 13th Judicial Circuit, during which time she prosecuted hundreds of jury trials.

Her passion for family law combines her experience as a trial attorney with her natural desire to help women struggling with divorce. Heather has deep roots in the community. She is a third generation Jacksonville Beach attorney; following in the footsteps of her grandfatherand uncle.

Heather opened The Quick Law Group in 2010 with a simple mission: to provide women  with excellent representation based on trust and respect, and focus on their goals throughout the process. This year, The Quick Law Group initiatives are expanding to include a focus on women after the divorce by providing continued education and development support services.

Heather has put together a strong team of devoted advocates for women’s rights. The Quick Law Group is proud of its legal team, which includes Julie Rountree, Katie Johnson and Anna Mikhaliants, and, together with Heather, offers a combined 28 years of experience. The Quick Law Group lawyers are passionate and dedicated to their work and are an asset to the law firm. Additionally, we have an administrative team of dedicated professionals to meet the needs of our clients including, Carole Gandy, Marcy Pollicino, Krista Staruch, Kristi Clark, and Yomary Ambrosiani.

The intention of The Quick Law Group this year is to provide the community with educational opportunities for women to understand their divorce and family law rights. Clients will experience unique educational opportunities such as lunch and learns, monthly educational seminars specifically for women in the divorce process, quarterly client appreciation events, quality professional referrals for support services and a post-divorce retreat to assist clients with renewing their mind, body and spirit after going through a divorce.

Heather has authored two books, “Women’s Guide to Divorce in Florida”  and “Is Divorce Right For You?”  Both books are available on Amazon or at The Quick Law Group office. Also, visit our website for a free report on Preparing for Divorce: Five Steps Women Need to Protect Their Future, at
