Describe your practice.
Our wealth management team, which consists of three wealth advisors and two sales assistants, is committed to deliver unparalleled service to our clients. Our four-point branding message encompasses the twelve most important wealth management issues that most families need to address.
1. We work comprehensively with our clients’ wealth management plans.
2. We are able to provide this high level of service because of our systematic 12 step wealth management process.
3. We utilize the vast resources of Morgan Stanley Smith Barney to provide this high level of service. We employ an open architecture supported by an unmatched due diligence process. We proactively implement our Global Wealth Management’s tactical asset allocation frameworks. We provide the access and advice to select the world’s most premier alternative investment advisors.
4. We deliver our service in a highly personalized way. We create a customized communication plan for each client. We orchestrate each client’s investment policy with their tailored portfolio.
What is your investment philosophy?
Instead of merely placing your money, our team actively manages your money. We have several model portfolios that vary from ultra conservative to aggressive. Our respective models represent our team’s best ideas in action. The secret sauce of these portfolios is a solid core strategy combined with a proactive tactical approach. Our overriding objective is for our model portfolios to outperform their respective benchmarks net of fees, on both a total and risk-adjusted basis. We are willing to modestly underperform in a bull market if it means we are likely to meaningfully outperform in a bear market. We work closely with Morgan Stanley Smith Barney’s Global Investment Committee, analysts, strategists, and economists throughout the world to identify the best areas of investment that reflect our asset class, sector and geographic preferences. We supplement the data and recommendations provided by MSSB and Citigroup with a copious list of outside institutions.
Do you offer financial planning?
Yes. The structure of the financial plan must be reflective of the client’s current situation, future, feelings and family dynamics. We take each client through the 12 most important wealth management issues they will face: investments, insurance, liabilities, qualified retirement plans / IRAs, stock options, business succession planning, asset protection, children/descendent and charitable gifting, titling of assets, executor/trustee and the distribution of wealth at death. We make note of the date we discussed it, what actions were taken, and the date we accomplished it.
