Dr. C. Cayce Rumsey, III • Dr. Rumsey entered private practice in 1993. A year later, with a staff of only three, he founded Ponte Vedra Plastic Surgery. As the Beaches’ first full-time plastic surgeon, Dr. Rumsey’s goal was to bring top quality cosmetic surgery to one of Jacksonville’s fastest growing communities. He is currently the President of the Greater Jacksonville Society of Plastic Surgeons, Division Chief of plastic surgery at Baptist Medical Center Beaches and a board member with the Florida Society of Plastic Surgeons. Over the years, Ponte Vedra Plastic Surgery has added three distinguished surgeons and become firmly established as the region’s leading plastic surgery practice.
Dr. Robert W. Burk, III • Voted by the readers of The Ponte Vedra Recorder as one of the Beaches’ “Best Plastic Surgeons,” Dr. Burk has an outstanding reputation throughout the greater Jacksonville area. He is a clinical professor for the University of Florida Division of Plastic Surgery and frequently attends national and international surgical educational conferences allowing him to provide state-of-the-art surgical techniques.
Dr. Paul J. Scioscia • Dr. Scioscia has extensive training in general, plastic and aesthetic surgery. His goal is to provide patients with the highest-quality care in a respectful and discreet manner. Dr. Scioscia is a Past President of The Greater Jacksonville Society of Plastic Surgeons and currently sits as Chief of Plastic Surgery at St. Vincent’s Medical Center. He gives seminars and has been interviewed on television and radio about various plastic surgery topics.
Dr. Brett J. Snyder • Dr. Snyder returned to his home town of Jacksonville in 2004 to join Ponte Vedra Plastic Surgery. He has an extensive background in plastic and reconstructive surgery—including cosmetic surgery, craniofacial surgery, and breast reconstruction—as well as laser skin rejuvenation.
Dr. Snyder completed his residency at Stanford University in California. The following year, he served as a fellow at the Australian Craniofacial Unit in Adelaide, Australia. He then returned to Stanford and joined its clinical faculty, where he developed programs in craniofacial and cosmetic surgery. In 2000, he joined Napa Valley Plastic Surgery Associates. Four years later, he and his wife and children moved back to Jacksonville to be closer to family.
