Since its founding, the Awards have established an amazing track record for identifying the early promise of our nation’s most accomplished creative leaders. Alumni include Andy Warhol, Sylvia Plath, Robert Redford, Zac Posen, Ken Burns and countless others. Wundercamera: Savannah is a site-specific exhibition that brings together works by contemporary photographers exploring the world of museums. Exploring the often funny, strange, and intimate relationships between audiences and art, the works in Wundercamera: Savannah focus on different aspects of museum and gallery culture, all interpreted through the lenses of contemporary photographers. By presenting museum spaces as artistic subjects in their own right, Wundercamera: Savannah urges individuals to see these spaces with new eyes, morphing visitors into part of the art, and capturing that transformative moment when art and viewer intersect.

Adventure Kayak Florida has high quality mountain bikes and beach cruisers for rent if you feel like trying out the many bike trails while spending quality time at the park. Hanna Park offers over 20 miles of trails that have various difficulty levels ranging from easy to very tough. Multiple trail options allow riders to select the trail of their preference and to test out their skills. Riders that rent bikes from us are required to wear a provided helmet for their personal safety…

On Thursday, February 23 at 6:00pm , the HEAL Starry Skies & Butterflies FUN-Raiser will be held on the TPC Clubhouse Lawn. The event will feature Top Local Party Band the Boogie Freaks and World -Renowned Performing Painter, David Garibaldi. Guests will also enjoy Auctions, Dinner, Drinks, Dancing and Lawn Games. Through grants, HEAL supports organizations serving those with Autism Spectrum Disorders. The Foundation serves as an outreach organization providing educational programs and camps tailored to the needs of the local autism community.

Nick Cave (American, b. 1959) is an internationally-renowned artist living and working in Chicago. The exhibition features a selection of soundsuits made in the past decade, as well as two tondos—large circular works evoking the night sky and the cosmos—and two recent videos documenting the soundsuits and their use in performance. This is the largest presentation of Cave’s work ever displayed in Georgia.
