2013 MBRP Diesel Drag Racing Series season opener
On Saturday, March 23rd, the National Hot Rod Diesel Association (NHRDA) opens its 2013 MBRP Diesel Drag Racing Series season opener at the Auto Plus Raceway in Gainesville, FL March 23. The 6th Annual Gator Diesel Drags presented by NAPA Auto Parts will include some of the top competitors from across the country in diesel drag racing, Show â??N Shine, Dyno competition and the crowd favorite, Burnout Contest.
The Gator Diesel Drags is an action-packed fun filled day for the entire family
The event will feature world-class drivers, such as (2 time World Champion) Philip Palmer, Jared Jones driver of the 200 mph Scheids Diesel Dragster and Eric "The Ragin' Cajun" Stelly. The March 23rd race will feature National Championship Diesel Drag Racing competition in 6 different categories, while other competitors will compete in Show N Shine, Burnout Contest and the Dyno competition.
