2013 Run for Life - 25th Anniversary

February 17, 2013 - The Run for Life will end at the Great Cross at Prince of Peace Church in St. Augustine on San Marco Blvd at 12 noon.  Runners begin the 9-day grueling run from 3 places in Florida - Homestead, Pensacola and Marco Island, meeting in St. Augustine and met by the Knights of Columbus and Bishop Estevez, Bishop of the Diocese of St. Augustine.  After the Bishop's blessing, Mass will be celebrated in Prince of Peace Church, complete with a rose ceremony commemorating 40 years of Roe vs. Wade.  After Mass, at 2:30 pm, there will be a banquent in honor of the runners being held at San Sebastian Church located at 1112 State Road 16 (off I-95).  It is an all-you-can-eat Italian feast.  Tickets are $20 for adults and Children under 12 are $3.  Call 904-829-5516 for more information or to purchase your tickets.  There will be a wonderful guest speaker and door prizes.  Come join us for a very inspirational experience.
