Braided Light Dance Project Presents 'Creative Intuitions'
CREATIVE, FUN & UNIQUE FUNDRAISER TO BENEFIT LOCAL PROFESSIONAL DANCE ORGANIZATION
Jacksonville, FL -- Braided Light Dance Project will present a site specific dance performance at Intuition Ale Worksâ?? Open Air Brewery Bar on March 9, 2013 at their benefit concert, â??Creative Intuitions.â??
The event will feature live music, craft brewed beers, a food truck, a silent auction, and of course lots of dancing.
â??We wanted to do a fundraiser that was laid back, where the guests can feel relaxed and interact with the dancers.â?ť says Artistic Director Hilary Libman. â??Weâ??re excited for another opportunity to transform an alternative space into a dance venue.â?ť
The event kicks off at 6 pm with live music by Jackson Vegas. Patrons can meander through the silent auction while enjoying food served by On The Fly food truck and specialty craft beers by Intuition Ale Works, both of which will be donating a portion of proceeds from the evening to benefit Braided Light Dance Project.
The dancers will present an hour-long concert starting at 7:30 pm and the evening will finish off with more music and an open dance floor.
Choreographers presenting work are Lauren Baroch, Lara Binder, Emily Cargill, Bekkah Clifford, Sydney Keister, Hilary Libman.
Braided Lightâ??s mission is to produce sophisticated and inspired modern dance. Through collaboration with other local artists, they increase the awareness of the vibrant tapestry of talent who call Jacksonville home.
Braided Light Dance Project is a non-profit 501-3(c) organization operating under the guidance of a Board of Directors. Their goal is promote and provide performances that are evocative, athletic and inspired by the intrigue of the human condition.
