Jacksonville Public Library is hosting a free program of music for string ensemble as part of its Promenade! First Wednesday Art Walk Concerts series. Students from Jacksonville University will perform under the direction of Dr. Marguerite Richardson, with guest cellist Dr. Shannon Lockwood. The free concert will include works by Handel, Faure, Mozart, Mascagni, Mendelssohn, and local composer Piotr Szewczyk.
Free parking is available in the public garage on Duval Street at the corner of Main Street.
