Tennis Ball Bonanza

G.R.E.A.T. Rescue (www.greatrescue.org) is hosting its annual "Tennis Ball Bonanza" Friday, Nov. 2, 2012 from 7-10 p.m. The fundraising event is a fun-filled, "people-only" social event helping to raise much-needed funds for G.R.E.A.T.â??s Golden Retrievers in need.

The 50/50 event allows attendees the opportunity to win up to 50% of the funds raised through the eventâ??s ticket (tennis ball) sales. Fifty percent of ticket sales will benefit G.R.E.A.T. Rescue. The remaining 50% of proceeds will be distributed to winners with 50% to the first place winner, 30% to the second place winner and 20% to the third place winner.

Guests to the event will enjoy food, drinks, music, fellowship and plenty of smiles as the winning tennis balls are retrieved by what else?!, one of G.R.E.A.T.â??s beautiful Golden Retrievers!

Tickets (tennis balls) are $10 each and may be purchased via PayPal at www.greatrescue.org, at Hurricane Grill and Wings, Julington Creek Marina, or by mailing a check to G.R.E.A.T. Rescue, P.O. Box 600878, Jacksonville, Fla., 32260-0878. Event location information will be given to ticket purchasers.

Rescue has matched over 700 Golden Retrievers in need with loving, responsible families since its inception in 2000.  The organization is comprised of a dedicated team of volunteers whose sole mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and re-home abused, neglected and unwanted Golden Retrievers.
