Saint Augustine Ballet presents The Nutcracker

Saint Augustine Ballet announces the return of two principal dancers and one new guest artist for their 2012 production of The Nutcracker. This magical musical event, features elegant costumes, custom-designed scenery, professional dancers, and local celebrities, including the Mayor of Saint Augustine. Each year, Saint Augustine Ballet updates their take on this traditional ballet to keep the production fresh and interesting.

Molina from the Center for Dance Education at Atlanta Ballet will reprise his role as the mysterious and magical character known as Drosselmeyer. Yosbel Delgado-Hernandez from Pennsylvania Ballet and Lustig Dance Theatrewill return to his part as the Cavalier.vAlyson Pray from  Pennsylvania Ballet and Ballet Fleming will be making her debut with Saint Augustine Ballet as the Sugar Plum Fairy.

Saint Augustine Ballet will present The Nutcracker on the stage of Lewis Auditorium at Flagler College (formerly known as Flagler College Auditorium). on Saturday, December 15, 2012 at 2p.m. and 7:30p.m, and Sunday, December 16, 2012 at 2:00p.m. located at 14 Granada Street, Saint Augustine, FL 32084.
