Halloween Doors & More is a community-based fundraising event designed to raise awareness and funds for children with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions. A family-centered event, it is a weekend of a different sort.
Halloween Doors & More is packed full of activities and attractions for children and parents alike. Magic, fantasy and much more. This year??s enchanted quest is full of new explorations for all the trick-or-treaters in your family. Halloween doors & more has several new ventures and some familiar ones that have been around. You??ll get your groove on in the Groovy Goblin Family Disco, enjoy a spooktacular make-over at the Suessical Salon, go on a dreamlike journey into our Alice??s Adventure, Have a magical voyage through Harry??s Wizarding World, indulge in gourmet food and much more.
Proceeds benefit Community PedsCare, a pediatric program of Community Hospice of Northeast Florida in collaboration with Wolfson Children??s Hospital, Nemours Children??s Clinic and University of Florida-Jacksonville. Serving the five-county area of Baker, Clay, Duval, Nassau and St. Johns counties, Community PedsCare daily serves more than 100 children and their families. Community PedsCare offers both palliative care for children with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions who are still seeking aggressive or curative treatment, as well as hospice care for children with a diagnosis of six months or less of life who have forgone curative treatment.
Volunteer opportunities are available for involvement on the planning committees and for set-up and day-of-event support.
