Dr. Boyne has been practicing medical and surgical dermatology in Jacksonville since opening her practice in the Southpoint area in 1990. She is a native of New York and graduated from the University of Miami with highest honors in 1986. She completed her Dermatology Fellowship at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, VA, and was board certified by the American board of dermatology in 1990.
Dr. Boyne chose Jacksonville for its coastal community and need for a female dermatologist at that time. In 2011, she expanded her practice with the introduction of Emily Begley ARNP, a graduate of UF’s advanced nurse practitioner program, and in 2012 expanded her cosmetic department by welcoming Elizabeth Anderson, PA-C, a graduate of Nova Southeastern Physician Assistant program, who specializes in advanced skin care. Dr. Boyne’s aesthetics department offers a variety of products and procedures, including pulsed-light treatments, chemical peels, fillers, and Botox.
Dr. Boyne’s approach to medicine is to be straightforward, honest, and realistic about outcomes, both medical and cosmetic, while partnering with patients to keep them directly involved in decision-making regarding their health and treatment choices.
Dr. Boyne and her staff treat patients of all ages for diseases of the skin, hair, and nails, and ensure that all feel welcome and appreciated.
