Butterfly Gardening 101 Garden Tour
The Jacksonville Zoo's garden tour series for the fall starts with Butterfly Gardening 101 on Saturday, September 4, 9 AM-11 AM. Participants will learn how, with the right plants and a little patience, they can enjoy the wonders of the entire butterfly life cycle in their own backyards. Discussions will focus on basic principles of butterfly gardening, appropriate plants, and the butterflies one may hope to attract.
Tickets are $10 for Zoo members, $20 for non-members. Includes zoo admission. Pre-registration is required. http://www.jacksonvillezoo.org
Between concerts, the members of Dinosaur Jr. shot footage for their latest video "Over It." Since one of their shows was atFreebird Live in Jacksonville Beach, the River City figured prominently into the mix with the band bike riding and skateboarding around Friendship Fountain, Southbank Riverwalk and Freebird Live. Too bad they didn't roll by an optician so that old dude could get some eyeglass cleaner.
This video ended up sucking I thought. At least for what they could have done with it. I havn't heard many people's opinion about it, but that is what I thought.
