Why Tom McManus left 1010XL
Periodically, The Specktator's internet marketing and analysis department (i.e., me) answers reader questions. However, one such question—"Why did Tom McManus leave 1010XL?"—keeps popping up over and over again, despite the fact that I already answered it.
Since you obviously didn't like my first answer, I decided to go straight to the source and get an official statement. So, here, without further ado, is Tom McManus' explanation of why he left 1010XL...
"I left 1010XL because I did not like the direction that the station was going in. More importantly, it wasn't a good direction for me... I was also sharing time with Sam Kouvaris and David Lamm," he says. "Hosting my own morning drive show on 930 The Fox is a much bigger opportunity for me. And station management totally embraces everything I do—from my book [We'll Always Be Pals] to my TV show [Tom McManus Unfiltered. It's a much better fit."
Tom McManus Unfiltered airs weekdays 6-9 AM on 930 The Fox. Tom McManus Uncensored airs Thursdays at 11 PM on Comcast channel 7 and on ESPN2 on Saturdays at 8:30 AM.
Can we now get back to asking the hard-hitting questions like "Who does Joe Theismann's hair?" and "Does Michael Groover own Smithfield Hams?"

Who does Joe Theismann's hair and other reader questions
The Specktator's Internet marketing and analysis department (i.e., me) has been examining keyword searches and queries directed to the site. Following are some of the more interesting ones (or ones that I felt like researching)...
"Who is Joe Theismann's hairstylist?"
Unfortunately, I was unable to find the answer to this strange query. In my research, however, I discovered this photo of Theismann sporting a cow-patterned sweater, making the better question, where in the hell does he buy his clothes?
"How old is Jeannie Blaylock?"
As best I can tell 49. Which brings me to a question: What's with the sudden fascination with Jeannie Blaylock?
"Is Nikki Preede and Bruce Hamilton married?"
Poor grammar aside, I'm having trouble answering your question, mainly because it's ambiguous. Do you mean: Are Nikki Preede and Bruce Hamilton married to each other? Or are Nikki and Bruce married to other people?
The answer to the first is no. The answer to the second is yes, Nikki is married (to a charming young man named Scott, by the way), and no, Bruce is not. Not yet anyway.
"Does Donald Trump wear a toupee?"
No one in his right mind would buy a toupee that bad, so it must be his own hair. Incidentally, if you'd like learn how to style your hair like The Donald's, here's a step-by-step guide brought to you by the Daily Mail UK.

Jeannie Blaylock looks tired and other reader questions (actually, that one's a comment)
The Specktator's Internet marketing and analysis department (i.e., me) has been examining keyword searches and queries directed to the site. Following are some of the more interesting ones (or ones that I felt like researching)...
"Chef Patrick Walley resident chef at Publix Apron's Cooking school photo" Well, that one was pretty easy. Here he is. And if it's not big enough, there's a billboard with Chef Walley's mug on it (or at least there used to be) on I-10 west near Riverside. And not that you asked, but he's a darned nice guy.
"What's the name of the Jerry Springer theme song?"
It's called "I'm Going on the Jerry Springer Show" and was written by Frank Carlier as part of the Springer Singer Search.
"picture of old wrinkled hands"
You got it! I went ahead and tossed in some age spots and veins too at no extra charge.
"Jeannie Blaylock from First Coast News looks tired lately"
Okaaaay ... I'll be sure to ask her if she's been getting enough sleep next time I see her at Bistro Aix.
"photoblog haha 33406 361"
There's a website called photoblog.com and a website called haha.com; 33406 is a ZIP code in West Palm Beach, and 361 is the area code for Corpus Christi, Texas and a book by Donald Westlake. That's all I got.

Is the word 'fart' an acronym and other reader questions
The Specktator's Internet marketing and analysis department (i.e., me) has been examining keyword searches and queries directed to the site. Following are some of the more interesting ones (or ones that I felt like researching)...
"huge bra"
Why settle for just a huge bra when you can have the World's Largest Bra? The bra, modeled here by Hoda Kotb and Kathie Lee Gifford on Today, is more than three feet wide and has padded cups for support.
"Where can I download J. Dash 'Wop' for free?"
I don't know. And even if I did, I wouldn't tell you. I mean, how would you like it if your boss took work that you did and decided not to pay you for it?
You can listen to "Wop" and J.'s other music for free, however, on Stereofame and MySpace. I'd also suggest checking out "How to do the Wop" on YouTube.
Did Santonio Holmes cut his dreads?"
Yes, which is good news for the Jaguars.
"Is the word 'fart' an acronym?"
FART is an acronym for Farmers Against Ridiculous Taxes in New Zealand. But I assume you are referring to the word that means to "emit gas from the anus," which comes from the Middle English word "ferten" and Old High German "ferzan," meaning "to break wind."
"How old is Megan Henderson?"
The winner of Jacksonville Magazine's 2009 Cover Model Search is 24. And not that you asked, but she just started a blog so you can ask her your personal questions directly from now on and save your bra and fart questions for The Specktator.
"How can you become on the cover of the jacksonville Magazine?"
Well, the most direct route is to win our Cover Model Search, which won't get underway again until next year. But judging from past covers, you could also win the THE PLAYERS Championship or America's Next Top Model, become the Jaguars' quarterback or head coach, or turn into a bowl of paella or a plate of fried chicken.

Does Amato wear a weave and other reader questions
The Specktator's Internet marketing and analysis department (i.e., me) has been examining keyword searches and queries directed to the site. Following are some of the more interesting ones (or ones that I felt like researching)...
"Phil Amato toupee"
I couldn't find any info about the Good Morning Jacksonville co-anchor's hair/hairpiece. So, until I'm able to catch him in a windstorm, the best I can do is refer you to the video, How to Spot a Toupee. (Note: This is not Phil's actual hair. But it is how he would look with Kate Gosselin's hair.)
"Dom DeLuise, Eat This, shrimp scampi"
There is a shrimp scampi recipe in DeLuise's cookbook, Eat This .. It'll Make You Feel Better, but it's actually Carol Burnett's. Unfortunately, Amazon.com's "search inside this book" feature won't show the recipe, but I was able to find a recipe for Carol's "raspberry riches."
"What happened to Tom McManus on 1010XL?"
The former Jaguars linebacker was sharing the mic with Sam Kouvaris and David Lamm as part of Sam & Lamm with Tom McManus on AM 1010XL Jax Sports Radio, but now he has his own gig on 930 The Fox. Tom McManus Unfiltered debuts Monday, August 31 from 6-9 AM.
"Jacksonville Magazine Facebook"
Not sure why this person didn't go to Facebook and search for Jacksonville Magazine, but since he or she didn't, it gives me an excuse to recruit friends to The Spectator's page and Jacksonville Magazine on Twitter.
"sasha joggin babelicious"
I have no idea what this means, but it sounds dirty.
"guinea pigs jacksonville"
Ditto.
