Say goodbye to summer with some sweet and savory barbeque at the 3rd annual Southern Tailgate Cook off on August 24-25.The tasty Amelia Island event will bring together BBQ lovin’ judges from St. Louis, Texas, Memphis, and South Carolina. With regional bands playing and over $20,000 in cash and prizes to be won, Main Beach Park on Amelia Island will be pretty busy so arrive early and hungry. Starting at 3 PM August 24 and 10 AM on Aug 25, attendees will sample smoked meats from over 20 teams while judges evaluate each entry for taste, appearance and texture.
