Alison Emery is a consumer law attorney who concentrates her practice on representation of individuals and families struggling with debt both in bankruptcy, state and federal court litigation and in alternative resolution methods, such as mortgage modification and debt settlement. Ms. Emery is a proud Jacksonville native and graduate of Episcopal School of Jacksonville, Vassar College (B.A. 1994) and the University of Florida College of Law (J.D. 2002). She developed her passion for consumer advocacy during her years as an insurance defense and commercial litigation attorney, leading her to transition to her current practice area. This varied background has given Ms. Emery a unique perspective in her representation of consumers in these difficult economic times, and she views consumer advocacy as her calling instead of just her profession. She is admitted in all US District Courts of Florida (Northern, Middle and Southern) and is an active member of the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys (NACBA) and the National Association of Consumer Advocates (NACA). Ms. Emery thrives on helping clients navigate through the otherwise highly stressful landscape of debt assistance and relief.
