Dr. Cavka opened Cavka Dental Center in 2013. Since then our patient base has grown significantly as we have become the place for personalized and natural smile makeovers.

We are proud to be part of Jacksonville’s private dental community—a collection of small, locally-owned practices that truly put patient care first. While we perform approximately 90% of the procedures in our office, sometimes we incorporate local specialists in our treatment plans to give our patients more options to achieve the best results. Aida Cavka, DMD
Dr. Aida Cavka wants to transform your perception of dentistry. She believes in thoroughly educating her patients about their oral health, thereby making the patient an informed member of the treatment team. Her passion lies not only in the science, but also in the art of dentistry, and she strives to satisfy both the health and the cosmetic needs of her patients.
Dr. Cavka attended Wolfson high school here in Jacksonville and completed her undergraduate studies at the University of North Florida, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in biology. She then received her doctorate from the University of Florida College of Dentistry. During her dental education, she received awards for clinical and professional excellence. She furthered her dental studies at the VA Medical Center in Gainesville in their hospital-based General Practice Residency Program. There she received specialized training in advanced dental techniques and in the treatment of medically complex patients. Unlike the field of medicine, a dental residency program is elective—meaning that Dr. Cavka voluntarily dedicated a full year of her life to gather knowledge to excel in the field of dentistry. After residency, she worked as an associate dentist in a local private practice before building Cavka Dental Center. She believes in continuing education, takes frequent continuing education courses, and participates in local dental meetings and study clubs.
