“We moved to our new state-of-the-art office earlier this year. This move, combined with our enthusiastic and caring team, has allowed us to improve the overall operation of our practice, while maintaining our commitment to providing the highest level of endodontic care. We consider ourselves an extension of our referring doctors’ practices and we take this responsibility very seriously. Our goal is to provide unsurpassed quality in a compassionate environment of professionalism and clinical excellence.”— Dr. Claudio Varella

Varella Endodontics is dedicated exclusively to root canal treatment. A root canal is necessary when the pulp (soft tissue inside the tooth) becomes inflamed or infected as a result of trauma, deep decay, repeated dental procedures or a cracked tooth. It is one of the most common procedures performed in dental offices with well over 15 million treatments performed every year in the U.S. (source: AAE). This simple procedure can save your natural tooth, avoiding extraction. NOTHING IS AS GOOD AS YOUR NATURAL TOOTH!

Dr. Claudio H. Varella taught for more than five years at the University of Florida College of Dentistry where he dedicated his time to teaching the pre-doctoral and graduate endodontic programs, as well as conducting research to improve canal disinfection. He has published numerous scientific papers and written a book chapter. His passion for clinical endodontics ultimately led him to full-time patient care. His office features digital radiography (less radiation for the patient), Zeiss operating microscopes (illumination and magnification of the surgical field, allowing better visualization during the root canal treatments and microsurgical procedures), and the 3-D Cone Beam Computed Tomography or 3-D CBCT (overcoming the limitations associated with conventional two-dimensional x-ray images).

Combined with his clinical knowledge and experience, he can more accurately diagnose and treat inflamed/infected teeth and pathology of the jaw bones associated with dental infections.
