Sharon Owens first started impersonating Barbra Streisand when she landed a nighttime gig in Los Angeles singing a Streisand song. Never knowing she'd in up in the music tribute business she has spent the past 15 years studying Streisand and being featured on Entertainment Tonight, Access Hollywood, Extra, and in People Magazine. She also starred in a ABC’s reality show, “The Next Best Thing” and won the Fox TV show, “Performing As.”
The Alhambra Theatre and Dining will host Owens' show, An Enchanted Evening with Barbra Streisand, during Alhambra after Dark April 5-12. Owens will showcase Streisand's most famous years from the 1960s through the 80s, featuring favorites such as "Don’t Rain on My Parade," "The Way We Were," "Evergreen," "Woman in Love," "Somewhere" and "People."
