Ashley McCorvey Myers is the first and only woman in Northeast Florida to achieve the honor of Fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers. She has been board certified in marital and family law by The Florida Bar since 2003. She currently serves as Chair of Subcommittee C of the Florida Bar Rules of Judicial Administration Committee, as Vice President of the Florida Family Law Inn of Court, as a member of the Board of Managers of the American Academy of Matrimonial Law, Florida Chapter, and as an appointee of the Bounds of Advocacy Workgroup convened by the Family Law Section of the Florida Bar to evaluate and update the aspirational Bounds of Advocacy. Ms. Myers is past Chair of the Florida Bar Family Law Rules Committee. She has been consistently recognized in Super Lawyers, Florida Trend’s Legal Elite and, in 2017, is honored to be the first recipient of the Barry Sinoff Award of Excellence, a legacy award established as a tribute to Barry Sinoff, Esquire, a well- respected family law attorney whose passing the Jacksonville legal community mourned in 2016. Ms. Myers publishes articles, lectures and performs presentations on marital and family law issues for various associations locally and throughout the State of Florida.
