TPC Sawgrass was filled with 150 guests at the seventh annual Great Chefs of Jacksonville on March 9. The evening began with a one-of-a-kind experience from Signature Event Series sponsor Ferrari of Central of Florida. Guests were allowed test drives in two Ferrari vehicles, a California T and a GTC4 Lusso.

The night continued with the Cocktail Shakeoff, featuring St. Augustine Distillery spirits, as two restaurants (one from the city and one from the beaches, of course) went head-to-head for the best cocktail. Tennette Shumaker from Aqua Grill created "Hold the Lettuce" and Courtney O'Quinn with Candy Apple Cafe created "Raspberry Tootsie Pop" using St. Augustine Distillery's new Florida Double Cask Bourbon. Guests then voted for their favorite cocktail as the dinner bells chimed. Aqua Grill claimed victory with "Hold the Lettuce."

Diners were then treated to four courses, two dishes each, and were instructed to circle their favorite dish on their ballots. Some of the dishes were Butter Poached King Crab, Son & Skye mushroom empanada, Chicken Ballontine and Chocolate Hazelnut Panna Cotta. Each course was paired with different wines donated by Foley Family Wines. After all the ballots were collected and tallied, voting was tied, two courses to Team City and two courses to Team Beaches. The judges' cards were counted, still making it a close race. In the end, Team Beaches was declared the winner.
