In 2016, Jacksonville Magazine’s annual Cover Model Fashion Show had a new twist that offered an exciting challenge for local designers. The inaugural Jax Mag Fashion Design Competition was open to professional and novice fashion designers in North Florida. Participating designers were tasked with coming up with two looks for the fashion show. This year's theme is Poetry in Motion, a nod to Signature Event Series sponsor Ferrari.

In addition, the Jacksonville Magazine Fashion Project concludes with the awarding of an opportunity of a lifetime to one young woman—a cover photo shoot and fashion layout within the pages of Northeast Florida’s most widely read lifestyle publication.

The event will be held May 19 at a location to be announced soon. VIP reception begins at 6:30, general reception at 7:00, and the fashion show begins at 8:00.
