This month, Anheuser-Busch hosts Oktoberfest, a two-day event at the Anheuser-Busch Jacksonville Brewery.
Friday night features live music from the TJ Ward Band, Dirty Pete Band, DJ EL and Austin Park. Guests will enjoy genuine German cuisine, brewery tours, beer sampling and more. The festival continues on Saturday with plenty of fun for the whole family. It starts off early with the HandsOn Jacksonville Human Race Oktoberfest 5K run and 1K fun walk. Festival goers can enjoy the family fun zone, which will include carnival games, pumpkin bowling, face painting and more. Oktoberfest games will also be offered throughout the day including stein-hoisting, barrel rolling, tug-of-war and brat eating contests. You can also participate in the live auction with Senator Aaron Bean.
For the full experience, join the VIPs on Friday for a one-night only event. The Ultra VIP tickets include a sampling glass, access to VIP tents, a gift card to the Anheuser-Busch Oktoberfest gift shop plus access to the Stein Party where you will get to choose a unique and collectible beer stein. The Ultra VIP ticket is $80.
“We have packed this festival with fun both inside and outside the brewery,” says Mike White, event organizer and CEO of Client Focused Media. “We will kick-off Oktoberfest on Friday night with the official tapping of the keg. There will also be beer school for our VIPs and the Ultra VIP Stein Party.”
Tickets start at $10. September 30, 4-10 PM and October 1, 11 AM-10 PM. oktoberfestjacksonville.com.
