Have a ball this Father’s Day with the Jacksonville Suns at their Father’s Day Cookout, grill giveaway and pregame catch.

The all-you-can-eat buffet will take place from 2:30 PM to 4:00 PM in the Grillman’s Party Plaza at Baseball Grounds. This is the first year that individuals and families can participate in the cookout, as it was only offered to large groups during previous seasons. The menu includes hamburgers, hot dogs, cole slaw, beans, cookies, tea and lemonade.

One lucky fan will also leave the event with a new grill thanks to the Father’s Day Grill Giveaway presented by Channel 4.

The Father’s Day Cookout is part of the larger June 19 Baptist Health Sunday Family FUNday. Children can play catch on the field before the game and listen to a story read by a Suns player. In addition to doing arts and crafts on the concourse, kids can have their faces painted free of charge behind Section 108. Following the game, children ages 12 and under are invited to run the bases.

The Father’s Day package, which costs $20 per person, includes wristband access to the all-you-can-eat buffet and a reserved seat to the Suns’ 3:05 PM game against the Biloxi Shuckers.

Individuals can make reservations for the Father's Day Cookout by calling Marco LaNave at (904) 224-8534 or by submitting a registration form to marco@jaxsuns.com. Forms are available at jaxsuns.com/fathersday, and reservations must be made by June 10.
