Sweet Pete’s is ready for a sweet summer with its brand new Soda Pop Shop classes, candy-making classes, summer events and more.

Soda Pop Shop Classes:

This summer only (June, July, and August), Sweet Pete’s is going old-school and will begin offering a fun, educational Soda Pop Shop Class. Sign up to learn how soda was originally made and create your very own soda using old and new techniques. Experiment with different flavors, enjoy a tour of Sweet Pete's and take your craft soda home to share. All guests leave with four 12 oz. bottles of soda and can create a soda float downstairs at the dessert bar for an additional fee.

  • Tuesdays at 5:30 p.m.
  • Friday, June 10 and Friday, June 24 at 6:30 p.m.
  • Saturday, June 18 and Saturday, June 25 at 11 a.m.

Get Limed Key Lime Candy Classes:

Sweet Pete’s will soon be putting a twist on some of their traditional classes this summer – a twist of key lime that is! This June, Sweet Pete’s is hosting their first-ever “Get Limed!” Key Lime Candy Classes. These Get Limed Hand-pulled Lollipop-Making and Get Limed Taffy-making classes include the same fun and excitement as Sweet Pete’s traditional candy-making classes plus a slice of Key Lime Pie straight from the Key West Key Lime Pie Company in Key West, Fla.

  • Get Limed Hand-pulled Lollipop classes: Wednesdays at 3:30 p.m.
  • Get Limed Taffy classes: Thursdays at 6 p.m.

Toddler Time:

You’re never too young to enjoy a Sweet Pete’s outing! Toddler time is for children ages 2 to 4 and includes a fun, age-appropriate lesson on how chocolate is made, a sweet story for the little ones, and a sweet treat based on the story!

  • Wednesdays and Fridays at 10 a.m.

Traditional Classes:

Sweet Pete’s most popular, family-friendly classes will also be happening all summer long. These classes come with step-by-step instructions on making the candy of your choice – hand-pulled lollipops, taffy, chocolate bars, chocolate pizzas, and truffles. The classes include candy to take home and a tour of the store and candy factory.
