American Craft Beer Week kicks off next week. Intuition Ale Works has a few interesting things up its sleeve for the occasion…
- Kickoff event at Mellow Mushroom Avondale, May 16: This event is a large Intuition tap spotlight with tons of limited brews, “several of which are extremely rare to see out in the market,” according to Intuition’s Riley Leuthold. The list includes El Guapo Mexican-style Lager, Easy on the Eyes Session IPA, Wheelhouse Brown Ale, Kingsley American Stout, Ra Saison, Premonition No1, Premonition No2, Tres Brujas, Underdark 2015, Underdark 2016, Javadark and Underdark w/ Cinnamon, Cocoa Nibs, and Vanilla.
- Release of the ACBW #BiggestSmallBeerEver in the taproom, May 17: “The #BiggestSmallBeerEver is a special, nationwide craft beer tapping event that is currently in the ‘teasing’ stage,” Leuthold says. “The best I can tell you at this point is that it is a unique concept for a craft beer that will have participation from breweries in all 50 states.”
- Release of a special collab with Aardwolf Brewing Co., May 19: “[It] will be a Hoppy Red Rye Ale and will be tapped at both Aardwolf and Intuition on May 19th with special tapping events occurring in the market shortly after,” he says.
The Jacksonville Craft and Import Beer Festival arrives at the Veterans Memorial Arena on May 20, just in time for ACBW, too.
