Divorce and Family Law for Women
The Quick Law Group is the only divorce and family law firm for women in Northeast Florida. Our practice revolutionizes the way women are represented throughout the entire divorce process. The Quick Law Group empowers women to take control of their lives, families and financials. By offering family and marital law services specifically for women, The Quick Law Group works in a consistent and reliable way to advocate for women in the divorce process. The reality of divorce is that most women quit too early because they are intimidated and bullied by their husbands. When we are able to educate and empower women on their rights and the law, they can find the strength to endure the process and end up better financially and emotionally.
Our law firm provides women with the tools to make educated decisions about their future and goals. At The Quick Law Group, we show women how the law applies to their circumstances and goals, and advise them on the best approach given all the pros and cons and the risks involved. Our Educated Advocacy ™ system incorporates the client’s goals, their particular facts, the law and jurisdiction in order to design the best strategy and achieve optimal overall results. The Quick Law Group is continually looking for innovative ways to solve problems for our clients and move their lives forward in a way that is better and more comprehensive than the traditional legal representation model.
The Quick Law Group offers over 35 years of combined legal experience. CEO and attorney Heather Quick began the mission to empower women after years of watching them give up too early in the divorce process. They refused to “sit at the table,” as Sheryl Sandburg describes it in her best seller, Lean In. Not only does the firm empower our clients, it is Heather’s mission to foster the continual growth of her staff in their legal education, as well as spiritually, mentally and personally.
The firm provides the highest degree of legal representation while balancing and reinforcing the importance of woman’s empowerment and self-esteem. The Quick Law Group hosts monthly events ranging from the mechanics of divorce and trial to meditation, as well as hosting a monthly divorce support group.
Heather Quick has received national recognition for her outstanding work in this specialty. She was awarded the SILVER AWARD in the Women Helping Women category, and Female Entrepreneur of the Year category in the 12th annual Stevie® Awards for Women in Business. The Stevie® Awards for Women in Business honor women executives, entrepreneurs, employees and the companies they run—worldwide.
Actively engaged in the local legal community, Heather Quick is a member of the American Bar Association, the St. Johns Bar Association as well as the Jacksonville Bar Association, serving as Chair of the Judicial Relations Committee. She serves on the Family Law Rules Committee for the Florida Bar, is a board member for the Winston YMCA, and is on the advisory board of Her Song. Heather is rated by Martindale-Hubbell® as AV Distinguished® and “Superb” by AVVO, both the highest ratings available.
Consistent with her message and mission of empowering women, Heather has published three books: Women’s Guide to Divorce in Florida, Is Divorce Right for You and Women’s Guide to Becoming a Successful Entrepreneur. Heather continues to work on issues that affect women and participate in programs designed to elevate them in the business arena—particularly as entrepreneurs. “Women have so much more to offer than they give themselves credit for, and it is time we lift one another up and call attention to all of our wonderful achievements.”
