Visitors of all ages can gather under the sprawling oak or sit beside the St. John’s River to celebrate Garden Month at the Cummer Museum throughout the month of March. During this celebration of the Olmsted, Italian, and English Gardens, originally landscaped by Arthur and Ninah Cummer, museum docents will guide guests through public garden tours, family plant sales, lectures, and panel discussions.
A garden concert with the Chris Thomas Band will take place March 11 at 7 PM. Tickets are $35 for non-members of the museum. Guests are invited to bring chairs, picnics, and beverages of choice to enjoy an evening in the Cummer Gardens.
The Cummer will also participate in Conservancy Day on April 2, a self-guided tour of four private gardens.
Most events are free with paid admission to the Museum. Registration is required for paid events.
