Best Restaurants Bash!

The Best Restaurants Bash will feature food and drinks from more than two dozen of the city's leading restaurants. Only those establishments named in our January "50 Best Restaurants" cover story will be invited to participate, making this the premier fine food tasting happening of the year.

In addition to terrific food, patrons should expect all the things that make a Jax Mag party so much fun—music, giveaways, swag bags, our party photo screens and Shoe Cam!

NEW - Aerial -3150 Years of Hemming
Jan. 23 | Free | Hemming Park

Originally designated as a public square, the 1.5-acre parcel that now comprises Hemming Park is Jacksonville's first and oldest park. On January 23, 1866 it was sold to the city for $10 by the heirs of Isaiah D. Hart, the founder of Jacksonville.

The outdoor party includes music, acrobats, live painting, historic photos and trivia contest, kids activities, food truck fare and an "ostrich" cart race/food drive to benefit Clara White Mission.

Become a member of Friends of Hemming Park for just $10 (regularly $25) and enjoy a special members-only social in the atrium of City Hall including one free drink, a cash bar, cupcakes and updates on the future of Hemming Park from CEO Vince Cavin.

Community Hospice Foundation is pulling out all of the stops for their Jan. 28 inaugural “Light Party” to celebrate donors who’ve given more than $1,000 annually to the nonprofit hospice organization.

Support the Cummer Museum through the Beaches Affinity Group FOCUS (Friends of the Ocean Communities United to Support the Cummer) with a festive evening of food and entertainment at the beautiful TPC Sawgrass Clubhouse. The Opera Department at UNF will perform. All proceeds to benefit educational programs at the Museum.
