Hemming is Humming

You've likely seen and heard a lot about Hemming Park recently—the Downtown center space has been rebranded and has seen some recent happenings, like the opening of an outdoor cafe, mainstays like Vagabond Coffee and a kids' play area. It's felt a few growing pains as well, of course, like funding setbacks courtesy of the City.

But the Friends of Hemming Park, a nonprofit which now operates the park, has got a solid schedule of daily, weekly, monthly and special events, so making the trek Downtown should soon become more of a regular thing for Jaxsons, rather than something we do only when we have to, or at most once a month for Art Walk.
