On Tuesday, May 13, Roy’s Restaurant in Jacksonville Beach hosted a special event, aptly called "A Night at Roy’s," to benefit the Monique Burr Foundation. The Monique Burr Foundation is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to the prevention of bullying and child-abuse among elementary school children through the use of education and empowerment. Guests dined on Hawaiian-inspired hors d’oeuvres prepared by the owner and chef himself, Roy Yamaguchi. Colorful cocktails and fine wines provided by Southern Wine and Spirits were also served. The Jacksonville Magazine Tom Bush MINI Shoe Cam was of course on hand to capture all of the night’s most appealing shoes. From fancy wedges to strappy sandals, spring-inspired footwear seemed to be the theme for the evening.
